The Town Board of the Town of Malta shall be empowered
to make, amend and enforce regulations and/or standards regarding
stormwater conveyance systems for subdivisions, planned development
districts, and all other construction and/or maintenance projects
requiring site plan review, upon recommendation of the Town Highway
Department and/or Town Planning Department, by resolution. Violation
of these regulations and/or standards shall be a misdemeanor, and
shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000 per violation (as
defined by regulation), and may be enjoined by the order of a court
of competent jurisdiction. This section and the regulations and/or
standards promulgated hereunder may be enforced by the Town of Malta
Code Enforcement Officer in Town Court or New York State Supreme Court.
