§ 167-35.2. Swimming pools.

A.
A pool edge shall be set back at least 10 feet from each side property line and the rear property line.

B.
Locking gate(s) for access through the fence shall be provided. Such locking gates shall be kept locked when not under direct supervision of an eighteen-year-or-older individual.

C.
A pool shall not be within 10 feet of any power line.

D.
It shall be required that all pool fences meet code.

E.
The definition of a "pool" will be the definition from the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, and the same may be amended from time to time.

F.
All portions of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code which are applicable to pools, and are not in conflict with the regulations set forth above, will remain in full force and effect.
